As such, location and avoidance are mandatory for operatives and supervisors as part of a full qualification in NRSW knowledge and operations.
This certification and assessment delivers the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding of NRSWA Unit 1 - Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus (LA). It is primarily aimed at Operatives and Supervisors who have to locate underground apparatus for work on the roadways and highways.
With a mix of practical, video, and classroom-based exercises and tutorials, learners will cover legislative and administrative knowledge and awareness while taking part in practical tuition, focusing on location and avoidance of apparatus throughout.
